Student - Clinical Hour Opportunities

Due to a high volume of shadowing requests, opportunities will not be available until January 2025.
Are you a student interested, pursuing, or accepted into the following educational programs?

At this time, this Observation Opportunity application is open to individuals interested in pursuing or currently accepted into the following educational programs:
- Child Life
- Music Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Recreational Therapy
- Special Education
- Speech-Language Pathology
Observation Opportunities are one, three hour observation per discipline.

Student - VOLUME Summer Program
The VOLUME Summer Program at Bethany Children’s Health Center is a service-based, hands-on learning experience for high school students hoping to pursue degrees or careers in medicine, allied health, and healthcare administration.
Participants have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with multiple staff members of various healthcare-related fields, pediatric patients at bedside, special education classrooms, and in groups of fellow peers from schools throughout the Oklahoma City metro.

Volunteer - Adapted Rec. & Fine Arts Support
The Adapted Recreation & Fine Arts Support program offers volunteers the opportunity to interact with patients through sports related activities within the Activities of Daily Living, Adaptive Baseball Field, Fine Arts and other Activities of Daily Living areas.
