Join us for the OKC Wheelchair Basketball Tournament on January 3 and 4 at the Young Family Athletic Center, located at 2201 Trae Young Drive, Norman, OK 73069. With wheelchair basketball set to be a key event in the LA 2028 Paralympics, this tournament gives volunteers a great chance to see the sport up close while supporting youth and adult adaptive athletes from across the region. Volunteers will assist with score table operations or hospitality. Experience is helpful but not required; training and on site support will be provided. Lunch is included for all volunteers. Volunteers must wear apparel that represents their school, business, or organization, and all clothing must be appropriate for a family friendly environment. Volunteer Roles • Scorekeeper • Shot clock operator • Game clock operator • Hospitality support for team and volunteer check in Shift Options Saturday • Shift A 7:30 am to 1:30 pm • Shift B 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Sunday • Single Shift 7:30 am to 1:30 pm We have 51 volunteer spots available and welcome student groups, teams, organizations, or individual volunteers.
